Development and Global Governance
The articulation between development studies and global governance in an interdisciplinary approach represents the convergence of teaching and research produced by the professors and allows for a wide range of research on contemporary themes in International Relations. The focus is on studying the policies applied by States, international organizations, companies, non-governmental organizations and other actors in the international/global scope, but above all on the production of critical analyses on the political, economic and social processes that permeate such policies, observing the limits and possibilities of theoretical constructions that seek to explain and interpret historical and contemporary dynamics. From this perspective, the concentration area sheds light on the political economy of development and global governance, with a focus on historical transformations and ongoing processes, observing both systemic approaches and those centered on the strategies of different actors who act globally.
